Snapfulfil wins the race to deliver a Warehouse Management System for a major sponsor of the London 2012 Olympics.

Synergy Logistics and Snapfulfil are proud to be providing the Snapfulfil Warehouse Management System to a major Sponsor / Partner of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Synergy Logistics are located in Loughborough, which is coincidentally also the base for 500 competitors and coaches from Team GB in the lead-up to the London 2012 Olympics.  Gavin Clark, Commercial Director, explains: “It is a great honour for Synergy Logistics to be associated with such a prestigious global sporting event and to be working so closely with one of the London 2012 Olympics Sponsors, he continues: “We can’t say much, as we are sworn to an oath of secrecy by our client and partners. However what I can reveal is that our Snapfulfil WMS will be used to ship an expected 9 million items in the lead up to and during the Olympic Games.

In support of this we are providing interfaces with the clients SAP host system and are delivering an uplift capability of over 200% to cover the peak months.  The power and flexibility of the Snapfulfil solution has enabled the client to cost effectively manage this extreme uplift in business, with full RF capability, but without the traditional penalties associated with the capital purchase of the hardware.  Gavin Clark concludes: “It is a pleasure working with our Global Blue Chip client on this important project and although there have been a number of demanding challenges to overcome, the process has been a very positive experience and is set to ensure success for both our client and the Olympics in London 2012”
